OXBERRY MIDTOWN
Element Architects
A mid-rise residential development featuring single-studio units in the heart of Houston’s Midtown district. I contributed extensively to the construction documentation, including detailed floor plans, elevations, building sections, and facade references. My work supported coordination between architectural intent and build-ability, ensuring clarity across disciplines during the design development and construction phases.
I approached quality control as an extension of the design process, carefully redlining both my own work and that of the team to refine details and maintain a cohesive architectural language. This iterative review ensured accuracy and alignment with the project’s design intent, while also resolving construct ability challenges early. By developing wall sections strategically adjacent to elevations, I was able to illustrate how materials, systems, and the facade would interact bridging the gap between concept and construction and telling a clear story of how the building comes together.
With a strong attention to detail, I focused on developing precise casework details and interior elevations that resolved material transitions, ensured construct-ability, and aligned with the overall design intent. My approach emphasized coordination between disciplines and rigorous documentation standards to minimize errors and streamline the construction process.
